We have free Live Jazz on Saturday afternoons, the cream of Glasgows indie talent at our Thursday acoustic night "The Concrete Campfire", not to mention regular touring bands!

Regular Music presents: Lucy Wainwright Roche with support from Admiral Fallow (acoustic)

Acoustic

Price: £6 ADV

Time: 7PM

Lucy Wainwright Roche grew up in Greenwich Village, New York City. She is the daughter of two performing musicians, Loudon Wainwright and Suzzy Roche (The Roches), and also half-sister to critically acclaimed songwriter Rufus Wainwright.

Her childhood was spent living out of a suitcase, either on the road, with her parents or being ferried around to different relatives in her big musical clan.

It comes as no surprise then, to learn that she herself is also a musician. Releasing her first EP "8 Songs" in 2007, she has since gone on to release a second EP in 2008, and is now out on the road playing her material.

"Sincere and raw, at times recalling Joni Mitchell and Patty Griffin, Roche"s bittersweet voice leaps out; she paints an indelible image..." NPR"s Song of the Day.
