Equal parts musicality and wit, Owen"s music combines pop, rock, jazz, classical, R&B and theatrical influences. Variety effusively describes her as "a charmer and a seducer, a rocker, and a jazz chanteuse." Cassandra Wilson was moved to name Judith "One of the most passionate, mesmerizing thoroughly creative vocal artists on the scene today". Owen"s newest album, Mopping Up Karma (Courgette Records) is the best representation to date of her singular artistry.

Judith recently completed the UK run of Richard Thompson"s 1000 Years Of Popular Music tour where she won over the audiences and critics alike. The Independent noted that "Owen manages to steal the show" whilst The Times wrote how she added "a striking dash of personality to the performance" and that her version of Julie London’s Cry Me A River "was one of several highlights that she contributed to the show". In addition, The Guardian highlighted Judith"s performance by adding that she "deserves to emerge as a celebrity in her own right".
